Restoring your data
As of v1.6.1 Flopzilla will always be running as admin. As a consequence, your predefined ranges may appear to have disappeared. Don't worry though, they are still on your computer. Restoring them will be relatively easy with Flopzilla's new import/export system for predefined ranges.
To do this, please perform the following steps:
1) Go to Flopzilla's main directory (right-click its icon and select Open file location)
2) Run either Flopzilla_T.exe or Flopzilla_C.exe.
3) When running like this, you should again see your old ranges.
4) Go to Save/load->export predefined ranges in the menu.
5) Copy the entire text-block
6) Now run Flopzilla.exe
7) Go to Save/load->import predefined ranges in the menu.
8) Paste the text-block
9) Accept
Can't find your old ranges?
Does running "normally" not restore your ranges (step 2)?
Then you'll need to copy your custom files manually.
You will find them in:
C:/Users/X/AppData/Local/VirtualStore/Program Files(x86)/Flopzilla/Flopzilla
Here X is your username on your computer.
AppData is a hidden directory.
Your ranges are stored in the file newdefs.txt
Copy this newdefs.txt file to your installation directory.
This should restore your ranges.
